The Location
84 Mimiha Road, Pikowai / Matata.
Just off the Pacific Coast highway - halfway
between Te Puke and Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty.
The spectacular views from the top of the hill
extend from Coromandel Peninsula to the East Cape.
From Whakatane, take Thornton Rd past the airport,
then continue on through Matata. 5 kms past Matata, turn left on to
Mimiha Rd. (Look out for blue B&B sign.)
From Tauranga / Te Puke, follow SH2. 5 mins after sighting the
sea, look for Pikowai Rd (do not go up it!)1km on, Mimiha Rd
is the next turning right, just over the 2nd of two bridges. We are
840 metres up Mimiha Rd., well sign-posted.

Surrounded by Gardens
Quiet,
self-contained, high standard accommodation in a
country location less than 1km off the Pacific Coast highway.
Our one-hectare
garden surrounds the house and runs down to a parking area designed
for visitors. Guests are free to enjoy the gardens at all
times.
230 roses in
harmoniously coloured beds give their greatest show late Nov-Dec.
Perennials keep the show going through till autumn, plus there are
trees and shrubs, a water feature, stream, lots of structures and
some garden art. A new pond has been installed. Providing interest to all Horticulturists, we grow
many vegetables, heritage and exotic.
